Today I’m revealing pictures of my Christmas entryway decor and also taking you step by step through my process of decorating a Christmas tree over on the Balsam Hill Blog.

If you’ve been following me on my Instagram page, you heard about my debacle with the fresh garland that I accidentally ordered for my banister this year. I didn’t intent to use fresh garland, and the listing for the garland I picked out didn’t make it very clear that it was live vs faux! So long story short, I ended up getting the fresh garland and putting it up because it couldn’t be returned…unfortunately, it had dried out shortly after Thanksgiving.

Luckily, I was able to get some gorgeous new garland from Balsam Hill to use on my banister in replacement of the now dead garland I originally ordered. The beautiful faux Juniper Garland from Balsam Hill is so realistic looking. Normally, I layer garland on my banister to give it a really full look, but this garland doesn’t have to be layer since it’s already so amazingly full!

I used six total garland (3 sets of 2) to cover my entire stairway banister. I attach the garland using zip ties. The garland is pre-lit and is battery operated. I also got the matching Juniper Wreath from Balsam Hill to sit on the wall near the staircase.

I love how our entryway tree turned out. I used ornaments, striped ribbon, beaded garland, and jeweled picks all from Balsam Hill to deck out the tree. For the step by step description of how I decorated this tree, including how I attached the ribbon and made the bows for the tree, head to the blog post I wrote on the Balsam Hill blog!
